Robert Cornelius Band

The Robert Cornelius Band...hailing from Cleveland Ohio some have called what they do “Rock and Western”. With the pedal steel guitar work of Dan Morris who’s influenced by Nels Cline and Robert Fripp, as well as traditional country, to the rip snortin’ guitar work of Don Depew who’s worked with Guided By Voices. The band is rounded out by the Klein Brothers rhythm section, Mark Klein on drums who’s worked with Cobra Verde and Cleveland Metal legends Breaker. And Michael Klein on bass who’s worked with a host of Cleveland bands performing an eclectic mix of material that’s mind blowing. Robert Cornelius has lead The Lucky Bastards, The 609ers, and most recently The Bobby C Three. Having opened for the likes of The Bluefields, Dave Alvin, and Fred Eaglesmith, his live performances, whether fronting a loud ass roots rock band or with just his voice and an acoustic guitar, prove that he could well be among the last of his kind. Performing original material written collaboratively, as well as material written by Robert their live shows are a dynamic ride on the roots rock train.
